Dams International

Dams International was founded and started as a business in 1967 as the Dictating and Adding Machine Service from a Liverpool City Centre office by Barry Scott. It was noticed that along with having machines serviced, clients also bought office furniture. This was the beginning of Dams relationship with office furniture; soon Barry was buying and selling furniture and equipment to rival his biggest local competitors. Thoughts quickly turned to manufacturing furniture, and soon a small unit in North Wales was purchased where Dams manufactured their first desk. (More information on Dams International)
